Environmental Hazards

Depending on the dungeon, elements of the environment can be an obstacle and/or cause damage to the player.

Some examples of this are:

  • Lava in a fire dungeon

  • Poison pools in a monster cave

  • Magic Hazards

The player can maneuver around these obstacles by using items or equipping gear suited for each dungeon.

Active Traps

Once a trap has been repaired, the player needs to activate it.  Once a trap is activated it can cause damage to the player as well as the adventurers and boss monster as you escort them to the boss chamber.

Adventurers

The adventurers are the ones who come into the dungeon seeking treasure and monsters to fight. In the context of this game, they are more talked about like customers of an escape room. If the player has completed all tasks but is not in the green room, they will have to dodge around the adventurers as they make their way back to the green room. If the player is seen by the adventurers they will give chase and attack the player.

The player’s main means of defense will be to either lose the adventurers in the dungeon by hiding once they are out of their line of sight or using items to disorient them.

High Level Monsters

Most monsters you hire for the dungeon won’t bother you while you’re repairing the dungeon and will simply wander around getting their bearings. In some hard-mode dungeons, high level monsters will attack the player on sight, the player's main defense will be to use items to navigate around undetected.
