UI/UX Effects

UI/UX effects will be paper and pen based. Selecting an item in a menu will be illustrated by red lines underlining the text and a red circle when confirmed. Since the menus are the player's notebook, try to have as many hand drawn elements as possible.
Repair Effects

Repair effects will be particle with little green pluses spawning to show that the object in question is being "healed".
Environmental Effects

Environmental effects will be based around what kind of dungeon you are in. Mostly there will be dust clouds and some effects will be elemental based.
Trap Effects

Traps will have a cartooney cloud effect when set off with action lines. This is intended to make the traps going off feel more comedic.
Damage Effects

Damage effects will be particles with little red minuses to indicate the object or character has been hurt.
Magic Effects

Magic effects will be particles, with colors based on what element is being used.
Monster Effects

Monster effects will mostly include small dust clouds for steps and large clouds for fighting. This is to give fights a more comedic feel. Particles will be used for monster abilities, such as fire breathing.
